Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Clearance Eligible in Camarillo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and an active DoD Secret Clearance. Bring strong communication and customer service skills to a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or government facility stakeholders while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, or potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and/or vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation; communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
