As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Security Experience

• Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant security experience. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security-related tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Valid Driver's License

• All candidates must hold a valid driver’s license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements. This is essential for positions that require travel or transportation as part of the job duties.

Technical Proficiency

• Candidates should be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Proficiency in basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms is essential for effective job performance.

Customer Service Experience

• Previous experience in customer service is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage positively with clients and customers.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site policies.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident records.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly work environment by reporting hazards, damaged property, policy concerns, and other security-related issues to site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
