As a Security Officer - Full Time - Guard in Wilmington, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to evolving needs while demonstrating teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to transportation facility personnel, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, parking areas, loading zones, access points, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
