Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting and reporting unauthorized access attempts or other security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
