Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in West Finley, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a professional, visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, authorizations, visitor registrations, and contractor requirements in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate access-control systems, maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
