As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with maintaining orderly operations by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and following established post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
