Job Description

As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol in Berkeley, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a financial institution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report conditions, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with established site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
