Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Foot Patrol in Saint Cloud, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for shoppers, visitors, and employees while responding to concerns with professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, distribution, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, document visitor and contractor activity, and report unauthorized entry attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, deliveries, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
