As a Security Officer Full Time Access Governance in Somerset, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a technology-focused location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused corporate location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity or facility concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, employees, and public emergency response personnel while supporting a welcoming, controlled environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
