Prosegur Security is looking to fill an Unarmed Security Supervisor position that is customer service driven for one of our networks in the St. Joseph MO area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. We are looking for Security professionals that want to grow and develop professionally in our organization.We're hiring a reliable, experienced Security Supervisor! The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.Prosegur offers a whole suite of benefit options. Responsibilities:

· Supervise and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises

· Answer telephone calls and take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when the switchboard is closed

· Investigate and prepare reports on incidents

· Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property

· Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules

· Enforce facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance

· Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff including security guards and desk clerks.

· Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer property

· Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)

· Supervise for irregular or unusual activity

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· Must have 3 years of security experience

· Must have 2 years of supervisor security experience

· Must have open availability to work all shifts and schedules

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must have good communication skills

· Ability to stand or walk for long periods

· Must be able to walk/run up flights of stairs daily.

· Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods

· Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior."
