As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of administrative work areas, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor visitor and contractor access, verify credentials as directed, maintain required logs, and report unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support a professional, orderly environment within an aerospace and defense business location while following applicable post orders and reporting protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
