As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and support a welcoming, controlled environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems, maintain accurate activity records, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $15.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintaining visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
