Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Incident Response in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for members and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, members, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the financial institution location, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of activity in and around the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Complete required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
