Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Ponca City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring, reliable team by documenting observations and responding professionally to site needs. This role offers the opportunity to work with integrity in a dynamic environment while using computer or tablet tools as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and daily activities in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to incoming personnel and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
