Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Coordination in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control procedures, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
