This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, substations, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while following Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
