Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Review in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will assist visitors and employees with professionalism while supporting badge and access-control processes. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential requirements in accordance with established post orders, helping to maintain controlled entry to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
