Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Customer Care in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while documenting security-related activities and responding to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and entry authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site policy.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, escorting authorized individuals when requested, and helping to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
