You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable procedures and using de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
