As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication, and may drive as part of your duties in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by following site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with facility requirements.
• Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas, receive and document deliveries as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
