Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Site Assessment in Millington, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication while documenting observations using computer or tablet technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, delivery-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, drivers, and delivery vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
