Job Description

As a Security Officer Corporate Office Access Control in Melville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records while communicating relevant security-related information to supervisors and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
