Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Role Entry Operations in Lansing, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and patients. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and entry requirements in accordance with established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, issue and collect access credentials as authorized, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
