Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Johns Creek, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and assist shoppers and associates with professionalism. You will use communication and customer service skills to report concerns and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting security-related concerns and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
