Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver DOD Site in Independence, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and maintaining required logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and carry out duties in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
