What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site requirements.
• Observe and report irregular conditions, damaged property, or potential hazards while maintaining detailed activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
