Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Patrol in Greensburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide courteous service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility entrances, parking areas, corridors, waiting areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity in accordance with site policies; provide directions and assistance as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly, following Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
