Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Access Control in Gibbstown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and/or policy violations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
