As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
