As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Customer Assistance in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to questions in a professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, trailer yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and document entries, exits, and/or incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
