Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Management Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic automotive manufacturing location. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents while providing professional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the property, following established procedures for deliveries, contractors, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
