What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a retail distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrol findings, access activity, incidents, and policy violations accurately in daily activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
