Job Description

As a Security Officer in Dodge Center, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, teamwork-driven culture rooted in agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support site requirements.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized access attempts according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required documentation.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
