Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Protection in Daytona Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control activities, and emergency response protocols at a government law-enforcement location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and direct visitors according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, suspicious activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
