Healthcare Security Officer – Danbury, CT
Pay: $18.50/hour
Schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 5:30 AM–1:30 PM (32 hours/week)

About the Role
We’re looking for a professional Healthcare Security Officer to join our team in Danbury. In this role, you help create a safe, secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor facility premises to deter and detect security and safety issues
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, professional manner
• Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general support
• Enforce facility rules and regulations, including access control and visitor management
• Complete clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Work closely with healthcare staff to support a safe and respectful environment
• Report all health and safety issues and risks in line with Securitas policies and local regulations (Source: Group Health and Safety Policy)

What We’re Looking For

• Prior security, military, law enforcement, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not always required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work the set schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 5:30 AM–1:30 PM
• Must meet all local licensing and background requirements
