Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Coopersburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Valid Driver's License:

• All candidates must possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
• Candidates are required to provide a copy of their driver’s license during the application process.
• The license must be valid and not expired, and candidates must disclose any restrictions or endorsements.

CPR Certification:

• Candidates must obtain CPR certification prior to employment.
• Allied Universal offers Free training for CPR certification (B205) to ensure that all employees are equipped with the necessary skills to respond to emergencies.
• Proof of certification must be submitted before the commencement of employment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with access control processes for employees and authorized guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding agencies when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
