Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Route Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and/or personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned airport facilities, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and check credentials as directed, assisting with access-control procedures for restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as required.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
