Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver in Columbus, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Report observed hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
