As an Unarmed Security Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking lots, walkways, and perimeter areas, reporting observed concerns and maintenance issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency services.
• Monitor access points and support campus access-control procedures by observing visitor activity, checking credentials when required, and documenting unusual activity.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, while communicating relevant information to supervisors and campus stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
