Job Description

As a Security Officer Premier Corporate Office in Cohoes, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will help create a welcoming, professional environment while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business location, including entrances, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of persons entering and leaving the location.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
