Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Experience Needed in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to situations with professionalism, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and transportation facility users while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking areas, transit access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, vehicle and pedestrian activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
