Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Lock Verification in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and building inquiries, and help maintain an orderly environment for occupants and guests.
• Communicate promptly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed regarding security-related incidents or property concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
