What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the property by verifying authorized entry, observing deliveries and contractor activity, and documenting visitor and vehicle information in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare accurate incident reports.
• Observe manufacturing and industrial operations for security-related concerns, report hazards or maintenance issues to site contacts, and maintain detailed daily activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
