You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and staff, and communicate clearly with team members. Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals at a public healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and requesting additional assistance when needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access, directing visitors, and supporting visitor management procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
