Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Bristol, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary access badges, and directing authorized individuals according to site procedures.
• Observe access points, reception areas, and other assigned locations for unusual activity; report security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and documentation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while working conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
