Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Tracking in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public at a government transportation location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities, as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facilities, offices, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as required, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
