What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor entry records.
• Control access to construction areas, offices, equipment staging locations, and restricted spaces in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
