Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Identity Validation in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment for residents and visitors. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the residential property by verifying visitor and contractor authorization, managing entry records, and following established procedures for gates, doors, and other access points.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor access, incidents, patrols, and security-related activities while communicating professionally with residents and property representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
