Job Description

As a Security Officer Licensed Driver Bicycle Patrol in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants, visitors, and property operations with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence that helps support an orderly environment for tenants, visitors, and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
