As an Armed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and visitor screening. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and use technology to document security-related activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain assigned equipment, including authorized firearm and related gear, in accordance with applicable laws, company policy, and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
